What are you thankful for?

Well as we all know tomorrow is Thanks Giving, one of my personal favorites!   I enjoy getting to spend time with all of my family, & even some time with friends!  The food is yummy, the fire place sets the mood.  It is just a great day all around!  & after Thanks Giving, is Christmas, with the Christmas lights, hot chocolate, candy canes,& a gorgeous Christmas tree!  Getting to decorate the house & tree with the whole family.  It is all great.  But sometimes I think we get caught up in all the excitement & lights, food all of it.  & we forget to stop & thank God for the family, food, warmth, & love that we all get the privilege of having
We forget about the less fortunate, those who don't have the big dinner, or family to spend the holidays with.  We all act so careless about those who don't have what we have.  Even though we don't mean to & it is hard not to get caught up in the excitement it happens!  Trust me I am guilty of it!  There are so many people, & children that don't have the privilege of experiencing Christmas lights, or coming out in the morning & seeing all of the presents under the tree.  But instead wake up in the morning to a cold dark forgotten Orphanage where the wont be told I love you or Merry Christmas! They just sit longingly waiting for there family to take them home.  So this Christmas & Thanks Giving I would like you to stop for just 5 minutes & thank God for everything you have been blessed with.  Say a prayer & ask for God to bless those who don't have everything we do.  Or you could even ask God to show you how to bless them.  :)  Say a prayer for an orphan this Christmas!

Like this little princess Cora Lynne :)

Or How about Mr.Wyatt!

Little Miss Jillian :)

Take a couple minutes & think about all that you have & thank God for it! :)  I hope you guys have an amazing Thanks Giving & Christmas!

Thanksgiving is tomorrow so, first of all I'd like to say "Happy Thanksgiving" everyone!

How about you guys leave a comment and tell us what you're thankful for? I'd love to see what you write. :)

GOD is on the top of my thankful list; I'm so glad I'm able to talk to Him whenever I need/want to. I love him SOOO much! Secondly, I am thankful for my family and friends. They are so amazing and I don't know what I'd do without them. Especially for my mom, big sister Ashley, my buddy Gabe, Rachel, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Julia, and Alyssa. They've gotten me through so much, and I love them more than I can explain. Of course,I love every one of my friends but the ones I named are the ones that I am so close to, and talk to them almost about everything. <3

I can't imagine being without family like the orphans are--to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas all alone. Maybe they don't even celebrate these Holidays. Poor "Valya" (or now "Leah") has to do that. She always has.

"Valya", if I could I would be there in a heartbeat to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with you. To take you HOME with me. I love you sweet girl. ♥ And I hope that even though you're in an orphanage that someone will spend time with you, and that this your last Thanksgiving without a family. Happy Thanksgiving "Valya"!

Give a Little Thanks.

So here we are, only a few short days until the big, Thanksgiving day is upon us.  Almost everyone has a giant turkey in their fridge, & a crock pot full of something delicious to eat.   Friends and family from all over are in town to visit, or else your traveling to visit them.

Most of us are getting so caught up in all this, we're forgetting, the precious little children in the orphanages, that have, no giant meal to feed their ever so hungry little bellies, or no family to spend be with, to make them laugh or feel safe.  They'll still be in the same place they are in for pretty much 365 days a year, until they're hopeful family comes to their rescue.    I personally have SO much to be thankful for!  So much that I take for granted.  Like, my family. My family is amazing, I have two wonderful godly parents, eight little brothers & four little sisters!  God blessed me so big, yet most times I totally over look it all.  They always have my back, & I'm SO happy I get to spend my holidays with them!  To think about all the poor little angels in the orphanages all alone with not very much to be thankful for, it breaks my heart!

This thanksgiving I encourage you to give God some extra "thanks!" for all He's blessed you with!  And take a few minutes to pray for the orphans at Reece's Rainbow and all the other people hungry & homeless this Thanksgiving.

Please give even just 2 dollars to the "Angela's Time to Shine" fundraiser & share it with all the people you can!  It's almost over & we need you to pray & donate so that we can get this little angel home to her family!  So that next year she's celebrating happily with the Dellevoet's, not in a cold forgotten orphanage.

Now I'd like to take a moment to say a personal "Thanks" to you!  The members of John 14:18 never could've gotten this far with out you!  We're very grateful for all of those of you who have donated, "LIKED" us on Facebook, prayed, shared & so many other things!   You are what makes this possible.  We're so blessed to have gotten so many followers & fans.   If it's God's will we hope to raise more "likes" & followers!  To spread the word of the many little orphans alone on all these wonderful holidays.

Once again, thank you!  And I wish you a amazing Thanksgiving!   God bless you all!
